BAB Bespoke Publishing Services

Since 1986 - writing, editing, designing and publishing Books About Business

In the early summer of 1986, just before co-founders Tony Robinson and Clare Francis, started BAB, The Business Advisory Bureau Limited, they wrote and sold a book, on Job Hunting, to the Industrial Society (now the Work Foundation) for the awesome sum of £500.

Many thousands of copies were sold! Quickly learning the lesson, within months they had written, self published and marketed their first semi-humorous book on business practice called 'Murder At T'Mill - How to Prevent Managers Strangling the Business'. It didn't sell thousands but it was very successful, as were the seminars BAB ran on the same theme.

Today, with their longstanding partners in design, production and promotion, they can count over 260 of items of online and offline media that they have written and published. Their current best selling 'how to' manual, as it has been for six years, with countless revisions and updates, is the award winning 'The Essential Guide To Earning a Living From Independent Consultancy'. Their very latest book, published this year for their 'Coming of Age' celebration at the Café Royal is 'Buzzing with the Entrepreneurs' and the formula of combining humour with serious guidance on best business practice continues to work well.
